The all-new Galaxy S23 series was unveiled at Samsung’s premier event, ‘Galaxy Unpacked,’ in March. The series includes three devices: the Samsung Galaxy S23, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
There have been significant improvements over the previous year’s flagship. The most advanced device in the Galaxy lineup is said to compete with Apple. Let us go over this in depth.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S23
The Galaxy S23’s design is identical to that of the Galaxy S22, which it replaces. With the exception of S23’s missing camera hump, both are identical. It boasts a 6.1″ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It works with HDR10+. The Corning Gorilla Victus 2 provides protection.
The chipset has experienced the most notable change. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm powers every Galaxy S23 handset. The new device’s battery capacity has been slightly increased from 3700 mah to 3900 mah.
The camera is unchanged. three cameras: a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The 12MP selfie camera is used.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S23+
Again, not much has changed in terms of design. It is identical to S23 except that it has a larger 6.6″ dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits as opposed to S23’s smaller 6.1″ display.
The capacity of the battery has increased by 200mAh, from 4500mAh in the S22+ to 4700mAh in the new S23+.
The rear cameras on the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S23+ are the same: a 50MP primary camera with OIS and dual-pixel autofocus, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. All three rear cameras can record 4K 60fps footage. It allows fast wired charging up to 45w.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 ULTRA
And now for the finale! With a few minor modifications, the Galaxy S23 super features the same design as its predecessor. For a better experience, the curved edges have been lessened. It has gotten a little bit heavier. An infinity-o display is included. It has a sizable 6.8″ long AMOLED screen with adaptive 120 hz refresh rate, the same as its forerunner. The maximum brightness has grown.
It is powered by a GPU update and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
The camera has improved significantly this year, going from 108MP to 200MP. It has four cameras: a 200 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide sensor, a 3X and a 10X telephoto sensor, both with 10 MP resolution. The selfie camera is now only 12 MP instead of 40 MP. It has the identical 5000mah battery.
The S-pen remains the highlight feature. This pen, which is an original from the Note series, has fascinating features that place the Ultra among the best in the Android market.
The IP68 rating is another crucial trait that all three of the devices share. Reverse and wireless charging are supported by all of the devices.
